Is anyone besides me sick of the Flash Player appearing each time you click on something?
This is the first Lynsey Stevens book I have read, and it had me from the first page, I didn't want to like it but I did. Kley was a bit harsh, but later I found he was as unsure as Brooke was. I really liked the supporting chacters, all but Jilly. But I really like Drew and his exchanges with Brooke. Although like most romances Drew disappeared when he needed to, I still liked his showing up over and over. He was a card. From the back of the book: Kley could have any woman he desired Brooke Drynan accepted a teaching position in North Queensland to get over a broken heart-not to fall for another heartbreaker. So when she met the district's ideal bachelor and he so arrogantly misjudged her feelings for his best friend, Brooke found herself wanting to prove that at least one woman could resist Kley MacLean's previously infallible charm. But she had a sneaking suspicion that Kley could turn the tables on her and have her worshiping at his shrine like all the rest! |
