Outstanding German power/speed metal,
By
This review is from: Terminal Earth (Audio CD)
If you are a fan of clean power-speed metal, this release should without a doubt be in your collection. I have been collecting metal music within this genre since the early 80's, and this is one of the releases I find myself listening to time and again. Their first release [Hypertrace] was also top notch, but IMHO Terminal Earth rises above it. The production on this release is excellent, and for the time period, there were not many bands close to the power/speed. The vocals are handled by S.L Coe and really fit the style. Take a listen to the long power ballad "The Dust Of Ages", as this really showcases the talent that this group had. Bottom line....if you are into the power/speed genre, pick this up!!

This CD yet another great from Scanner, but I would rate their previous CD "Hypertrace" 10 stars. It is much better than this CD.

Angra, Running Wild, Scanner, Helix, Helloween are my favorite groups. I bought Scanner's "Terminal Earth" and wasn't disapointed. Great group, great heavy metal. Highly recommended.
