Well I used to. It's a fun game especially if you're a REAL fan of the Terminator. This is technically the first game you actually get to play as the Terminator, not that one for PS2. Only thing was, I think I was the only person around these parts that had even heard of the game. I rented this repeatedly. It's a side-scrolling mission-based game where you have objectives like retrieving future objects (a box with a Terminator part in it) and keeping John and Sarah Connor alive. Personally, when I was younger, I just enjoyed acquiring the pistol and the shotgun from the bikers and just blasting them all over the place and blowing up the telephone booths and bikes and tables and pool tables. Eventually I got around to playing the game... the driving parts of the game are a real pain, and it'd be nice if you could just cruise around because the map is rather huge, and it's very colorful. THe problem is, you constantly have cops and bikers chasing after you and it's very easy for you to lose your energy. T-1000 is also impossible to kill and ends up being a nuisance. Many different things in this game can cause your terminator harm and it does get to be a pain. I'd only recommend this to people who have a real sweet tooth for a genuine Genesis game and a good T2 game for it. The music is annoying, the sounds are pretty bad, the graphics aren't spectacular, the gameplay is rather straightforward and simple... but hey, I'm still playing it! There's something about shooting up the mall and psych ward that is very ...fun?

This not a bad game it's not perfect becuse of the driving levels but it has 8 levels which all do a good job of following the film the controls are good but not great 1st level your at the bar then you have to drive to John & Sarah's old house get an ID drive to the Galleria to get John drive to the Mentel Institute to get Sarah drive to Enriques compound to get explosives and the routary cannon ect ect ect of course you know how the rest goes. It's not a bad game if you play it properly I'm amazed how many people run around like retards and don't even go into the bar during the 1st level. This ain't a masterpiece but God D*** it's not a bad game like Action 52, Awesome Possum, Sword Of Sodan, Shaq Fu, Xperts, or the NES version of T2 even though the NES version had better music and that was an 8 bit system.Becuse in T2 on NES you basically got clobbered by a bunch of drunk wife beaters in level 1. As a Terminator fan this game was done very well but it's no masterpiece either so it's all about preferance.

Not many games are as mindless as T2, and believe me, that's not a compliment. You do the same old thing over and over until you can't take it anymore. And while it's kind of fun at first, it dries up quickly. Pass on this one.
