In the year 2060, violence rules the streets of Seattle and a conspiracy is hatched to spread a plague of vampirism. When Rachel Meyer's boyfriend Warren Storey is abducted by these conspirators, she hires shadowrunners to find Warren and bring him back. But the runners uncover a plot by Dr. Oslo Wake to transform all metahumans into walking dead. For Dr. Wake is developing a new strain of the virus that causes vampirism. The strain is far from perfected. Now, Warren has become a test subject in a medical procedure to create these unstoppable creatures. It's up to Rachel and her vampire hunter friends to rescue him.

Excellent book. Couldn't stop turning pages!,

I thought this novel was one of Koke's best. Once I picked it up I was unable to put it down. I'm really wondering if there is gonna be a next book dealing with Martin and the new gang. I think it would really be a great series to go with. Last but not least I can't wait till the next book dealing with the Ryan Mercury and the Assets Inc. team from Koke's Dragon Heart Saga trilogy.

This is one of the most interesting SR books I have have read.It is a bit more violent than the others, but it is an excellent read.You really don't have to be a fan of vampires or SR to truly enjoythis novel. Be patient as you read the intro, but then be prepared for action.
