"Terminus will be remembered as one of the BEST books of 2013. A must read."  --Award Winning author of Cursed Days

"Joshua Graham's TERMINUS is a fantastic read in every definition of that word. If Tom Clancy had written a novel of fallen angels and creatures that go bump in the night, this would be it: blisteringly paced, high-tension suspense, characters you bleed with. I can't wait to read more!" --James Rollins, New York Times bestseller of The Blood Gospel

An interesting story and put me at odds, along with the main character, about blindly following and discerning God's way of things.

First let me say, after reading this author's other two novels and the "Accidental" short stories, I am a big fan..His stories have always left me feeling inspired and warmth in my heart......He is capable of making you believe that someone, somewhere, may be saved, and people can still change....

Well, my favorite author, Joshua Graham, has just written another brilliant, bestseller....This novel is a very powerful, suspenseful, beautiful, uplifting tale, captured by sparkling wings of love and salavation.......The images are detailed, stunning visualizations, that come alive from the pages.....He has a way with writing his characters, that always makes them believable......

He is the only author that I have come across that can take topics, like murder, the legal system, terrorism, mystery, psychological thrillers and weave them with spirituality and faith....Yet, his stories never preach at you, ever.. You are left to your own belief system, imagination and own interpretations... I was waiting forever for his next novel's release...I downloaded it Thursday night, and finished it Friday, 4 AM in the morning, with tears in my eyes...So, be prepared because this is another page turner like his novel, "Beyond Justice"....

This story involves, the leader of an dangerous, drug cartel, fallen evangelist, a suicidal woman, who have no faith left and are lost....They will be continually tempted by evil, as a diabolical plot is set in motion.....They are just some of the ones on earth, that will be caught in a deadly, muderous game, between Demons and Fallen Angels, for human souls.....Will a gaurdian, or hero be able to protect, bring them out of the dark, and lead them into the everlasting light, through..."Hope".....

What would you sacrifice for someone else? Throughout mankind's history, there have been those individuals willing to give up everything in their lives for their fellow man. In Terminus, by Joshua Graham, he tackles that question through the character of Nikolai. Nikolai is basically a grim reaper. His job is collect the souls of the dearly departed. But when he has to collect the soul of a young girl, and see the broken spirit of her mother, he decides he no longer wants to continue as a Reaper. He takes on a job for another division and is given three simple tasks. However, as he becomes involved in the lives of the 3 people involved, he finds the tasks harder and harder to accomplish.

Mr. Graham has taken stories of old and given them a new spin. The fallen (or disgraced) hero who must decide between his job and what he feels is right. The reader can feel Nikolai's emotional turmoil as he finds himself struggling between the two goals.
The characters are richly developed and while the reader at first sees each storyline evolve separately, they eventually reach a point where they are all integrated into one major plotline. The situations are real, or at least as real as you can get when writing about fallen Angels in the modern world, but they are real to this world. You get to watch the characters grow and change as they are exposed to the possibilities for their lives. And you get to see how each of them would answer the question.
I would recommend this book for any fan of paranormal fantasy. While there are some religious undertones, Mr. Graham is never the type to beat one over the head with proselytizing. For an age group I'd say ages mid teen to adults due mainly to subject matter and some of the storylines. It seems that Mr. Graham left the door open for more stories within this world, and I for one look forward to it with eager anticipation.

Terminus is another "can't put down" book by Joshua Graham. It is the story of the divine meeting humanity, pain, love , forgiveness and sacrifice.

Nikolai, or Nick, is an Angel that is a multi-layered character. His history of being an Angel hasn't been stellar and his current job is basically that of a "grim reaper". His job is to collect the souls of the newly departed. He finds it boring and lackluster. We see a change in Nick when he has to collect the soul of a very young girl. It isn't "fair".

The pain and suffering that the mother, Hope, is experiencing touches Nick to the depth of his being. he is so moved by Hope that he begins to fall in love with her... a total violation of angel rules.

Joshua does a wonderful job of presenting the Angels exhibiting human characters. Nick is not only facing the challenge of his love for Hope but also the odd behavior of his co-worker and boss. Who said that some angels couldn't be a little demonic?

Nick is willing to sacrifice all for the love of Hope.

While Terminus is about Angels and humans, it is not preachy. The characters are believable - struggles, good vs. evil, guilt, loss, love and forgiveness. I am hopeful that there will be a sequel to Terminus by this gifted author, Joshua Graham.

Joshua Graham has become the go-to author for exciting and thought-provoking novels. Terminus is his latest and is, every bit as exciting as his bestselling legal thriller, "Beyond Justice". Without giving away the intricacies of the plot involving a fallen angel and his search for meaning and redemption; this is a reading experience that kept me up all night until I was done. Settle in and be ready for a thrill ride.
