Very detailed book on a subject
that even contractors know little
about. If you own real estate you
really should read this book.
Excellent photos as well.

Termite companies do not want
you to see this excellent work!

THIS IS A TOPIC MY HUSBAND, AN ENTOMOLOGIST, HAS A GREAT DEAL OF KNOWLEDGE ABOUT. HE, MY HUBBY, AFTER READING THIS MISSIVE, SIMPLY SAID: "PURCHASING THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY...THE ONLY EFFECTIVE PREVENTATIVE OR CORRECTIVE CONTROL MEASURE FOR TERMITES, EXCEPT WHERE RESTRICTED BY LAW, IS SOIL TREATMENT USING A PESTICIDE (LIQUID TERMITICIDE) AND THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS WORTHY OF ANYONE'S CONSIDERATION...I WISH THERE WERE, BUT IT'S A FACT THAT THERE ARE NOT."

HAVING ALSO CHECKED SEVERAL OFFICIAL AND SCIENTIFIC SOURCES, I FOUND NO VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE FROM THE OFFICIAL OR SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITIES TO SUPPORT THE AUTHOR'S STATEMENT REGARDING HOW DAMAGING TERMITES ARE. I KNOW THEY (TERMITES) ARE VERY DESTRUCTIVE INSECTS, AS WELL AS BENEFICIAL INSECTS, HOWEVER THOSE WHO MAKE SCARE TACTIC CLAIMS, AS THIS AUTHOR DOES, SHOULD SUPPORT SUCH CLAIMS WITH VERIFIABLE (SCIENTIFIC) EVIDENCE...NOT JUST SOMETHING THEY HAVE READ SOMEWHERE AND THEREFORE TAKE FOR GRANTED. WHERE DOES THIS AUTHOR SHOW ANY VERIFIABLE EVIDENCE TO SUPPORT ANYTHING HE HAS TO SAY? HE DOES NOT! DUH?

BASED ON THE ABOVE I SAY: SOME PUBLICATIONS CAN BE SLANTED TO SUPPORT A PERSONAL REASON, AND THIS PUBLICATIOIN IS OBVIOUSLY ONE SUCH EFFORT.
