5.0 out of 5 stars A Stunning Musical Score - Brings emotion to the film, June 27, 2007

Michael Gore's musical score for "Terms of Endearment" is one of the most recognizable scores in film history. This soundtrack brings the movie to life, supplying the film with the gripping emotion that fills it. The CD has audio cuts from the movie mixed with the score. It is a beautiful way of bringing the movie back to life in your head.

Michael Gore was nominated for the Oscar for "Best Music - Score" for this, but lost the award to Bill Conti's "The Right Stuff". It is a beautiful score, for a beautiful movie that is often overlooked these days. I recommend this soundtrack to anyone who loved the movie. It really captures your memories.

I was very pleased with this soundtrack recording from Terms of Endearment. I have been looking for it since I saw the movie the first time, in the cinema. It is an original soundtrack, which means the numbers are from the original soundtrack from the movie, including some dialogue, which is rare today. Most original soundtracks are studio recordings of the music/songs from the movie. I have given 5 stars, but if the rating had been upto 10, I would have rated that
