You can hear TMV throughout, but Juliette's voice is great on this. Definitely give it a listen and give her a chance. I'd like to see her live!

I have the three previous cd's by Juliette (and the Licks) and was very much looking forward to this new album. Unfortunately Juliette seems to me to have become involved with the wrong kind of musicians /producers who did nothing for her voice and music. Her otherwise powerful and warm voice sounds muffled and muted, and the songs seem uninspired and boring. Gone are the raw enthousiasm and energy which were present with the Licks.
I can listen to her for hours, but I will play one of the previous cd's to do so. I will stay a fan though, and will go to her concert in november in Amsterdam. So Juliette, if you read this: drop the new producer and start making music again!
