Everything was grand until the stitching started coming loose. Only recently the threads of the seam behind the toe box on the outboard side of both shoes has begun breaking. That is to say the thread itself if failing, not the leather or even bad stitching coming loose.
I have send an e mail to TP asking what can be done. I have been unable to confirm, but I read something about a ONE year warranty, if that is the case, we will see if it is honored on my purchase about 7 months ago. I will update this review based on how they respond to my e mail. 3 stars for a good shoe, ethical company, but possible bad material in the thread.

I like the boot. It fits great and you can really feel everything through the thin sole. It defenitely makes you conscious of how you walk or run but gives plenty of protection from sharp objects or rocks, etc. The only issue I have with them is the durability of the sole to boot connection. I wear mine hard in the woods and all around. The sole started to separate pretty quickly and I Gorilla glued them back together. Take that for what you will. I ordered a second pair anyway because I like them and they are the only type of boot like this that I could find. I wish they still made them or create a better outdoor style for hiking, hunting, etc.
