I really love these shoes, however the pair I bought were too small! I normally wear a womens size 9.5-10 (size 40 in most shoes), and I went up a size as the instructions say to do (ordered a size 41), but they were still too small! I had to return them and order a 42. So beware, you may need to order up even more than you think! The shoes themselves are wonderful. Light weight, durable, easy to pack and you can wear them with almost anything!

The two previous reviews of the Odette reflect the same experience: the sizing on these shoes is terribly off. My feet are Size 7.5 (US), so I went up to Size 8 for ordering (half sizes weren't available). The order was fulfilled with Size 38 (EU), which all the conversion charts list as Size 7.5. Not even close! I love the idea of the Terra Plana shoes, but I can't imagine how to guess what size you should order.

I thought the design was cute on these shoes (I got the grey print), but they were a little too chunky looking to wear with skirts. They worked fine with pants and jeans, but I wanted something more flexible style-wise. The black sole makes them look a little bit like sneakers (not super sporty, though) and I wanted something that could look slightly more dressy if I needed them too. These were comfy while I tried them on around the house and I like that they're "barefoot" style shoes. I suppose the wider footbed is what gave them a bigger profile than my other pair of ballet flats. These are definitely good if you want a comfy casual shoe.

A note on size, these run large. I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 US, and the 11M is what fit me the best.
