This product produces a brilliant white light, much brighter than the standard MagLite bulb. I was skeptical about the claims of increased battery life, but after a year of using this product, it's absolutely true. The light does not dim out as batteries age. It retains its bright white light until the batteries are completely used up.

Brilliantly bright. Retains focusing ability of MagLites. Note that it is polarity specific; if it doesn't work, reinsert it 180 degrees. Does not fit Brinkman look-alike flashlights.

I ordered it from amazon.com. It took me a min to install it. Everything works as expected. The megalite has advantage that it can adjust the focus. It is better than those multi-LED product.

Don't buy this product. The brightness is not much better than the pathetic bulb that originally comes with the maglite.
