This release is one of my favorites. When I heard it for the first time, I was amazed by the stunning beauty that these two
artists have created. Vidna Obmana's music tends to be a little
too cold and isolating at times; yet, on this particular
album, his icy ambience has been contrasted [in a beautiful way]
by Sam Rosenthal's warmer ambience. If you don't own it, buy it!
[Play it at night or on dreary days.]

In my humble opinion, the best ambient recording ever produced.

The fact that this CD is not more well known is a mystery to me. Vidna Obmana and Sam Rosenthal have captured the essence of what ambient is all about: creating a dreamlike, surreal unvierse, and then wrapping us up in it with a hypnotic soundscape that is completely fascinating -- not ever too repetitive or boring. Some of the tracks are cold and dark, others create a blissful, slowly spinning environment for us to get lost in. If only these guys had gotten together for a follow up...

Ambient minimalism at its best. Even Eno must be envious. This is an absolute must-have.

Obmana and Rosenthal, great combo. This type of music might be too sleepy for some but if you are a fan of dark, moody Darkwave/Ambient music, this is most certainly a must. It is a great moving and very contemplative work of art. For those contemplative rainy/winter nights.

Never much of an Obmana fan...even with his collaborations with the sainted Mr. Roach...but ran across this cd by chance...was intrigued by the reviews of it & the cover art...so I decided to give it a chance. It hasn't been out of my cd player since I purchased it. Keep playing it over & over. Great music for a somber winter's afternoon..the low light..the shadows...the crackling fire....music to be played when contemplation is best...light a candle....open up a porter..and drift into your memories......
