A lovely discovery............,

This review is from: Terradellas: Artaserse (Audio CD)
A most welcomed recording. Domènec Terredellas, it seems, is a gifted composer one wishes was recorded and performed more frequently. His music is felicitous, well-crafted and nobly performed by all soloists and the Reial Companyia Òpera de Cambra under the direction of Juan Bautista Otero.
Unfortunately, though, the enclosed Italian libretto (with translation into Spanish and French) is not also rendered into English. A most lovely work then, full of originality, deeply deserving of greater currency.
