This is yet another beautiful album from Martinho da Vila in his golden age. None of that slick pop production that messes up some of his more recent stuff, just pure samba de raiz. Almir Guineto on cavaco. roots samba at its absolute finest!! The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is the 13 minute carnival medley at the end, but I just personally don't like that carnival samba crap. If you do however, you'll certainly dig. Buy this album! And if it's not on amazon then seek it out!
