Who would have thought that used coffee grounds would be useful in keeping some plants healthy?!? I love the ideas in this book! We have two small children who often run around barefoot in the yard, and it's important that I can keep my yard healthy and beautiful while not using chemicals. Love the ideas in this book!!

Very helpful. Easy to understand. Alot of everyday products can be used safely to keep garden insect and weed free.

Everything that I have tried has worked. It amazes me how simple home products can do all this for your garden. You do save a great deal of money and the results are the most beautiful blooms and they keep coming, especially my Roses they are beautiful with just a little attention.
I gave my daugther all kinds of tips and then I bought one for her.
I strongly advise that you add this to your Garden Library. It is a great tool also a time and money saver.

This is an amazing time saver! I have a lot of Jerry's books and refer to them often but, this one is the best. Almost all his "recipes" in one place. The few that aren't in here I put on index cards and use them as bookmarks. Absolutely the best.

O'l JB really knows this stuff. He has assembled a collection of garden tonics full of folk lure and proven application.
Grandmother could not have given better old timey cures for what your garden will love and what will head off problems.
Common house hold items are ingredients for very effective bug and nutritional solutions for all types of various plants.
Forget about applying chemicals you can't even pronounce, that may run off to do harm elsewhere, let alone consume or get on your skin or in your lungs. Great gift for yourself or your home gardener. This is written well and is enjoyable to read.

Is what you will get with this keeper. I use compost tonic each month, and have earth ready in several weeks, not several months! All the tricks are in this book. Mostly organic remedies for all that trouble you and your landscape. This gets more use than any other landscape management book we own.

Wonderful book. It will brighten-up your garden and your world. tried several tonics and they are amazing. A must buy for gardeners.

Jerry always puts together great material. He reminds of of another great organic gardener Ruth Stout who is no longer with us. They both believe in doing things without chemicals and doing it naturally.

You can't go wrong with any of Jerry Baker or Ruth Stout's books you get.
