Suzuki`s 'Lynch Law Classroom' Is Great Fun!, March 14, 2010
This review is from: Terrifying Girls' High School (DVD)
Outlaw film auteur Norifumi Suzuki`s 'Terrifying Girl`s High School' (1973) was made just before his classic 'School Of The Holy Beast'(1974) and a few years before his immortal 'Star Of David: Hunting For Beautiful Girls'(1976), and this entry in his pantheon of highly-enjoyable psycho-cinema from the late 60`s thru the late 70`s is no exception. He also made 'Sex And Fury', 'Girl Boss Guerilla', and 'Girl Boss Revenge', and if you`re familiar w/ any of them, you know exactly what you`re getting into here. Not really a high school but a reform school, the students at this institution major in one thing only: survival. Bad girls must face off against one another in power plays, fend off lecherous teachers, corrupt politicians and a sadistic student body that murders when crossed. Pinky violence icon Reiko Ike('Sex and Fury','Girl Boss Guerilla','Inquisition and Torture') joins the mayhem and sapphic bloodletting, torture and humiliation that makes for a 'Terrifying Girl`s High School'. I`m betting most grads avoided the reunion...
