Terror Cell is an intellectually dazzling suspense thriller with a historical context about a terrorist group that plans a catastrophic attack during the 2004 Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, and the efforts of a CIA special-ops officer, Danforth, to prevent the assault. Danforths mission becomes even more difficult when he himself is targeted for assassination. The fictional terrorist organization is based on the actual Marxist group, 17 November, which caused murder and mayhem in Greece from 1975-2002. A timely and gripping story with real-life implications due to the uncertain political climate and security concerns in the upcoming 2004 Olympic games.
