Great Book!!!!!,

This is the second book of Matthew Thomas's books I have read (the other being "Before & After", which was wickedly amusing). This is even better than the first, showing an absolute masterly control of subtleness and humour that had me rolling in the aisles of the tubes, much to the dismay of the morbid monday morning travellers. Once I picked it up I had to carry on reading, which meant I had two exceptionally late evenings and a rather unimpressed group of associates in the mornings. Its about a weird twisted conspiracy theory that will blow your mind, sucking in people left right and center and culimnating in an explosivley amusing ending. It has action to rival Mr Archer, a blow of humour along the lines of Mr Pratchett, and imgaination that could possibly be compared to that of Mr Clarke's. I cannot wait for the next book. A super read.

Sometimes you just can't put a book down. You have to finish it. And when you do, you wished it didn't end so soon. Well Terror Firm from Matthew Thomas isn't one of those books. It's not exactly boring but it isn't interesting either. If I had brought another book with me on the plane I am not even sure I would have finished it. The book is all about conspiracy theories and how they are all true. In fact it is the aliens that feed the humans with paranoia because that's the state of mind they want us in. Of course they want to enslave us. Luckily for us the most paranoid of all the people have found them out and will try to save us all. Sound good? Well the book wasn't. And that's what really matters.
