I ORDERED THIS BOOK ONCE BEFORE AROUND CHRISTMAS TIME FROM A DIFFERENT COMPANY AND THEY TOOK ABOUT A MONTH TO REPLY SAYING THAT THEY COULDN'T FIND IT AND THEY REFUNDED ME MY MONEY. SO ABOUT OVER A MONTH AGO I TRIED TO ORDER IT AGAIN FROM THIS COMPANY THAT I'M REVIEWING AND THEY SENT ME AN EMAIL SAYING THEY SENT IT BUT I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED IT. I ORDERED IT ON FEBRUARY 5th AND IT IS NOW MARCH 9th.
AND NOW THE COST OF THE BOOK HAS BEEN RAISED SO THAT IF I WANTED TO TRY A 3rd TIME I'D HAVE TO RISK NEARLY $50. SO I GIVE THIS BOOK A HORRIBLE REVIEW EVEN THOUGH I KNOW I WOULD HAVE ENJOYED READING IT IF I HAD RECEIVED IT.

I've read about seven books by Graham Masterton and realised that only a few of them are really worth reading. It's hard to believe that this book is by the author of "Mirror," which was excellent. This is the second Jim Rook book that I read and it's just as dull as "Rook". Apart from "Mirror," the only other good books I've read by him are "Ritual" and "Death Trance." His short stories collection "Faces of Fear" had a few good stories. Don't waste your time with this one. If you want an author of horror who's EVERY book is really good, Richard Laymon is the best.
