Back in the 80s Artillery were one of the biggest European thrash sensations on the scene characterized by intense, energetic riffing and unique vocals of Flemming Ronsdorf, somewhat reminiscent of Slayer and Megadeth from the same era. Today Metal Mind Productions present re-release of Terror Squad in a new digipak edition limited to 2000 copies. "Terror Squad", first released in 1997, is definitely Artillery's shining moment with lots of mosh beats, great thrash riffs, plenty of speedy solos, and unique vocals that are a balanced mixture of growl and melody. The album gained a legendary status, becoming some of the most thrilling thrash releases of the late 80s period. New edition includes 7 bonus tracks. Digitally remastered using 24-Bit process on golden disc --This text refers to an alternate Audio CD edition.

One of the most ferocious, criminally overlooked thrash metal cd's ever released, Artillery's "Terror Squad" is an undisputed classic thrash metal disc. Insanely heavy and brutally conceived, the disc suffered from under exposure during its' original release because of their original label's, Neat Records, lack of advertisemnet and its poor distribution. Nonetheless, thrash enthusiasts rejoice world wide! Artillery's rerelease is upon us, so there's no reason NOt to aquire this essential piece of thrash history! Stand out songs are "The Challenge", insane thrash at its finest! "Terror Squad", massive, pounding metal; and the best song on the disc, "At War With Science", A tremendous, all out thrash classsic that NEEDS to be had!

One of my fave thrash bands of the 80's!! Artillery sounds much better w/this remaster. Metalmind said this would be a gold 24 bit disc-it is not, but it is remastered and sounds killer. Only complaint was that the original cd from yrs ago had a few fuzzy moments where the sound gets lower for a second or 2, happens on 1 song, that was not corrected. Probably not remasterd from original d.a.t. tape. Demo songs are on here as well. This is so crushing sounding and Terror Squad even w/one of the worst album covers of all time, remains one of the best thrash albums ever!!

This is a great CD from the thrash/speed metal kings Artillery. To all people who are looking to purchase this CD, I must tell you that Caiman does not have this in stock. I ordered it from them one month ago and still haven't received it. When I contacted them, they said it was on backorder and then the very next day, they relisted it. So, if you really want this CD, I wouldn't order it from them because you will never get it. Just a warning so as not to waste your time...
