5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly unique Thrash!
This is one of the better Thrash albums(2 actually!) from the '80's! As the rest of the Thrash world were sounding like Metallica or Teutonic Thrash rip-offs, Holy Terror created something unique with some truly inspiring, distinctive vocals and rhythms. A true collaborative effort between musicians! Takes a few spins to get into and used to but once you do it's quite...

1.0 out of 5 stars Audio Glitch Ruins a Great Double CD Deal
As other reviewers before me have stated, the Mind Wars CD has a very loud skip on the first track, Judas Reward, around the 4'07" mark, which completely ruins the album for me.
This is a shame, really, since having this band's two albums on a convenient double CD package seemed like an irresistible proposition to an old thrasher like me, and left me so heartbroken...

1.0 out of 5 stars Audio Glitch Ruins a Great Double CD Deal, January 30, 2011

This review is from: Terror & Submission / Mind Wars (Audio CD)
As other reviewers before me have stated, the Mind Wars CD has a very loud skip on the first track, Judas Reward, around the 4'07" mark, which completely ruins the album for me.
This is a shame, really, since having this band's two albums on a convenient double CD package seemed like an irresistible proposition to an old thrasher like me, and left me so heartbroken that I can't objectively asses on the rest of the package.
I bought the 2009 Candlelight Records edition, be sure to avoid it like the plague.
I emailed the label stating that I was willing to pay for a replacement disc or re buy the whole package if they could guarantee me a glitch free product, and I'm still waiting for an answer, which confirms my suspicions that this is just a fault of the label's careless re mastering and dubious quality control.
As much as I hate to say this, I'm not going to comment on the rest of the music contained in this package out of principle alone, since I refuse to put a good word for a label that obviously doesn't care enough about its consumers.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly unique Thrash!, April 15, 2011
This review is from: Terror & Submission / Mind Wars (Audio CD)
This is one of the better Thrash albums(2 actually!) from the '80's! As the rest of the Thrash world were sounding like Metallica or Teutonic Thrash rip-offs, Holy Terror created something unique with some truly inspiring, distinctive vocals and rhythms. A true collaborative effort between musicians! Takes a few spins to get into and used to but once you do it's quite infectious music done very intelligently. Pick this up if you enjoy unique original Metal! \m/
P.S. As for the "glitch" mentioned in the first review, read my comment after.
