1.0 out of 5 stars Such a pitty..., September 6, 2005
This review is from: Terror Within 2 [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I must say, I don't think I've ever been so dissapointed by a movie before. I wanted to get this so much simply because I loved the first. The plot, is a basic clone of the first but with two creatures in it. That's not what is so sad about this, but that everything good in the first has been traded for crap.

The acting, is horrid. I've seen better dialogue in 1970s low-budget monster movies like "MONSTER". What really makes this a pitty is the creatures. Yea, the one may have regenerated from a finger, but aside from that, the regeneration is gone. The creature's designs are so badly changed that they seem more like zombies, at least in the original, it actually LOOKED like a monster.

The characters, who really cares about them? They had NO back story except for the main returning character (who also directed and can be blamed for this "horror").

Sure, the original was an "ALIEN" rip-off, but a GOOD "ALIEN" rip-off, this is just a bad movie. AVOID.
