From School Library Journal
Grade 6-8-A well-balanced look at the events leading up to, during, and after the 1993 bombing. Pellowski describes the incident, the capture and trials of the accused, and the connections between Islamic fundamentalism and terrorist activities. A small section at the end discusses the September 11, 2001, attacks and President Bush's "Most Wanted" list of terrorists. The text is clear and succinct; readers are given a listing of "People with Key Roles" to keep track of all those involved. Black-and-white photographs and an artist's courtroom sketch are included. Overall, this is a solid resource for reports and general information. Charles J. Shields's The 1993 World Trade Center Bombing (Chelsea, 2002) is for older readers.
