"If America continues (its pro-Israel policies), it will become a new front in this (jihad) war".

In this 1994/2001 documentary, an American-based Islamic leader clearly stated that America would suffer at the hands of Islam. He declared the U.S. Capitol was "Zionist-occupied territory" and gave taped lectures on jihad, specifically stating combat strikes should be made on American military targets in the Middle East. On October 12, 2000, the USS Cole was attacked by Islamic suicide bombers in the port of Aden, Yemen, killing many sailors and nearly sinking the Aegis guided-missile destroyer. As of August 8, 2005, the U.S.A. has suffered 1,835 combat deaths in Iraq, many due to suicide attacks, along with 13,189 wounded (icasualties.org/oif/).

With regard to the "Zionist" references, a review of 20th-century history shows Adolph Hitler making a speech, in 1939, that said war would bring about the elimination of the Jew from Europe. The parallels are striking.

In the companion book to the qur'an, the ha'dith, the Last Hour of human history is not established until the Jews are wiped out by muslims, with the rocks betraying them (Volume 4, Book 52, vvs. 176-177). Other confirmation of this teaching is found in another volume, ha'dith sahih muslim, (Book 41, vvs. 6981-6985), again with stones and now even trees betraying Jews to be slaughtered. There is no mistaken interpretation here, as this is (shockingly so) the plain reading of the text.

The original video was updated with news clips of the 9/11/2001 attack and re-released as this product. Far too few Americans understood the very real problem that was already firmly entrenched on American soil. For Israel this problem has come at a high cost: Since September, 2000, 1,073 people (Israelis, Israeli-Arabs, Europeans and Americans, among others) have been killed and 7,253 injured by the Intifada (Israeli gov't website). According to this documentary two prominent terror groups active against Israel, Hamas and Hizbollah, have extensive networks in the USA. They are seen in combat training videos, teaching hatred of the Jews at summer camps for children, ranting at the Bartle Hall convention center in Kansas City, Missouri in 1989 and 1990, and singing praises to Russian Kalishnikov rifles in New Jersey.

Hijacking airliners has been a favorite among Islamic terrorists since the early 1970's. For this reason Israel has armed guards on every single El Al flight. While mosques can be found in most major American cities, in Saudi Arabia, where Islam began, no non-Islamic place of worship can be built or operated. No Christian Church or Jewish Synagogue is allowed on Saudi soil and this has been reconfirmed in March, 2003 by the Saudi gov't as official policy (source: Yahoo! News, Middle East section, March 10, 2003, "Saudis Won't Allow Churches on Its Land", Associated Press):

Those who want to establish churches "are, unfortunately, fanatics," (Prince) Sultan said. "There are no churches--not in the past, the present or future ... Whoever said this must shut up and be ashamed." (source: Saudi Arabia Defense Minister Prince Sultan, Chicago Sun-Times Internet Edition, Religion section, March 14, 2003).

While this video (correctly) states that most Islamics are not terrorists, it also states that most terrorists are in fact Islamic. In 2002, the University of North Carolina tried to introduce a sanitized version of the koran to its students with a book that avoided, for the most part, Surah chapters 2, 5 and 9. Anyone unfamiliar with the teachings can browse an online koran. For reference, peruse the following: Surah 2:191, 9:123, 9:5, 8:65, 9:29, 3:85, 5:11, 9:28, 2:193, 47:4, 8:12, 4:171 and pay particular attention to 5:51 and 9:30.

With 9/11/2001 already fading in the memories of many Americans, the perpetual terror alerts breed their own form of contempt and complacency. Yet the reality of Islamic states with weapons of mass destruction, particularly biological and chemical agents (Syria), remains a constant. Among these, Iraq and Libya sport military complexes, bunkers and plants built by France and Germany. Iran's nuclear complexes were built with Russian assistance (any surprise on how they voted regarding Saddam Hussein?).

Dr. Khan, the father of the (active and deployed) nuclear missile program for Pakistan, traveled to North Korea, Libya and Iran (and possibly Saudi Arabia) up to and through the year 2000, providing nuclear weapons technology. Hailed as a "national hero" Dr. Khan, amazingly, was pardoned by Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf. Even more amazingly, U.S. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher stated the U.S. supported the pardon (source: CNN.Com, "U.S. supports nuclear pardon", February 6, 2004, http://edition.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/asiapcf/02/05/pakistan.nuclear/). In the Bible, a final war (or leading up to such) on the Jew and the nation of Israel is found in Ezekiel chapters 38-39, with specific references to Libya and Iran in Ezekiel 38:5. This war has not taken place yet in history. This war takes place after Israel is reestablished as a nation by God (Ezekiel 34:13, 36:24, 37, among others). Are we witnessing the build-up to these events? However, Libya has apparently given up its chemical warfare on December 19, 2003, additionally giving up nerve agents, biological and nuclear pursuits (source: GlobalSecurity.Org, http://www.globalsecurity.org/wmd/world/libya/cw.htm). Items like these may explain why Israel had deployed Arrow anti-missile missiles towards Libya and Iran.

Iran's IRBM, the Shahab-3/Zelzal-3 is a derivative of the North Korean No Dong ballistic missile, developed during the Gorbachev leadership in the Soviet Union and using Chinese assistance. With a current max range of about 900 miles, Shahab-3 is close to bringing Tel Aviv, Israel (988 miles) within striking distance.

With regards to the video, I would have preferred this on DVD with chapter access. Originally aired on PBS, this updated VHS copy, while it could have been better edited, is quite revealing.

UPDATE: Former University of South Florida engineering professor Dr. Sami Al-Arian, and others, are on federal trial for raising U.S. funds to support terror, specifically Palestinian Islamic Jihad (source: http://www.sptimes.com/2005/07/22/Hillsborough/Martyrdom_a_key_issue.shtml). Dr. Al-Arian is seen in "Jihad in America" hosting a cable access show in Tampa, called "Peace Be Upon You".

Unfortunately, when this video was shown on public television, members of the FBI and CIA were either asleep or chose to ignore the content. Steve Emerson presents organizations operating legally in American led by fanatics exhorting their members to kill Americans and Jews. Before the WTC tragedy, it was a wake up call which it seems was ignored by the very people who may have been able to protect us as well as almost everyone else. I leant it to several friends and it wasn't until the WTC incident that they took the tape seriously. One person didn't bother to look at it until the incident. Americans have been asleep and Steve Emerson has been fighting a lonely fight to wake us up. Will it be too late? We can only hope that it is not. I urge everyone with any interest in staying alive and understanding their world to buy this video.

This is the notorious 1994 episode of Frontline about violent Islamic militants in America, bracketed by post-9/11 footage of that disaster and the U.S. attack in Afghanistan. Hidden cameras inside *American* mosques reveal Islamic militants raising funds for Hamas, baying for the blood of Jews. Even something so innocent as a summer camp for boys is turned into terror training by these apostles of jihad. (Catch the little arab boy hissing "Butcher the Jews!" during that segment.) Evidence is also offered suggesting that the first World Trade Center bombing was plotted and funded inside the U.S. At the end, the narrator assures us that Islam itself does not condone the violent jihad that American Muslims are being called to. This is baldly untrue, based on the Koran and the Hadiths and a quarter century of painful experience, but that issue needs its own video, so it doesn't much matter here.

It's hard to believe that PBS once actually aired this mortal sin against multi-cultism. Complaints against its creator, Steve Emerson, from well-funded American Muslim groups helped get him blacklisted from NPR's All Things Considered for a while. Less subtle disapproval from less savory Muslims nearly landed him in the FBI's witness protection program. In response to the (non-existent) oppression of Muslims in America, PBS this past year aired its infamous pro-Islam infomercial, in which American Muslims are portrayed as no different from anyone else save for headgear and cuisine. It ain't so, and this film shows why. As Paul Harvey says, it is _not_ one world.

Steven Emerson presents a well researched and documented problem in the United States. Ironically, what he found in his investigation during the early 1990s is still true today. Ignore the anti-Emerson reviews and watch the tape. Are all Moslems involved in terrorism? No. Do we have a problem with terrorist Moslems in the United States hiding behind the American right of freedom of religion? Definitely. The attacks on Emerson from the Moslem PR machine is typical and expected. Those of us "in the business" know Emerson is correct and also know there is a serious problem within the American Moslem community. Unless the Moslem community takes action against the radical elements, the terrorists will continue to survive. Ignore the polictically correct drivel and watch the tape. Decide for yourself.

I recently saw this video at a LE conference and I have to say it is chilling and thought provoking. It presents one of the best insights into radical terrorism in a common sense and easy to understand format. It clearly delineates that radical fundamentalists do not represent the traditions of Islam. He was able to catch radicalists in lies after lies. Plots to kill Jews and Americans and wage war on the US. Amazingly this was being done under our noses and shoved in our faces in 93 and we haven't seen the light. I can see why they have put a hit out on Mr Emerson. He poses a real threat to revealing just how organized and nasty these groups can be. Down to training children to fight their holy war. He revealed the truth and now his life is threatened. I intend on recommending and sharing this with everyone I come in contact with. If you care about your freedom and your children's future, there is one video to buy, this is it!

After viewing this crucial documentary, I was astonished at just how unsafe the American public truly is in relation to those terrorist groups who would like to see the downfall of the West at any, and all costs.

"Terrorists Among Us" shows in plain detail the network of Islamic terrorist who have set up base in the United States with the intention of killing and maiming American citizens. On this video you hear their leaders, and the fiery declarations of war against the West, as well as many conferences which have taken place between Islamic militant groups, and their leaders (How is this allowed to happen?).

this documentary should be recommended viewing for anyone who feels that Bush's supposed "War On Terrorism" has somehow made the country a safer place.

When are we going to stop being politically correct and call this war exactly what it is...an Islamist attack and effort to destroy Western Culture. Until Muslim clerics operating in this country (enjoying the freedoms to they always decry) roundly and loudly condemn Islamic Jihad, Hamas, Hezbollah and Al Qeada, and the governments that support them, the Saudis, the Iranians, the Iraqis, the Syrians, the Lybians, and acknowledge Israel's right to exist, the United States should not worry or care about ruffling Arab feelings. It's past time to say we are at war with Islam. We ARE at war with Islam.

Bravo Mr. Emerson!

Rhetoric that will shake your very soul spoken by some of the most impassioned Jihadist's living in our largest and most beloved cities. Wake up America and flee all you politically correct liberals to save yourselves. But why, oh why is this book and video on the closeout list when it should be on the front of Time, Newsweek, and every newspaper in the US?

I remember watching this documentary back in 1994 when it was aired on PBS. The horrific clandestine taping of Muslim meetings and conferences in the Untied States--and the hatred-filled words spewed by the leaders enticing Muslims to kill right here, on US soil--stayed with me.

As a result, I began reading more about the subject and to attend an occasional lecture by people I expected should know something about this growing cancer within our midst. Not much was available until 9/11/01, though, yet I found quite a few people in government (Congressmen, high security personnel) who were able to answer my questions. Amazingly, they all knew Steve Emerson, the producer of the tape, and they all continued to receive updates from him. Without exception, they all had great respect for him and for his relentless fight to bring out the truth about the danger brewing in the United States from the extreme segments within the Muslim community.

The worst part about "Jihad In America" is that whatever had been already documented in 1994 must be by far worse today. This documentary--as profound and revealing as it is--must be only the tip of the iceberg.

Any American who does not watch this video buries his/her head in the sand.

This video was made popular after the 9/11 attacks. That was way too late. If people would have been shown this video at the local town halls, churches, and schools, alot of what happened could have been prevented. Unfortunately, that isn't the case.

If I could say anything about the video, it would be that it was a definate 'eye opener' for my family. They had no clue that these 'peaceful muslims' had any intentions of attacking innocent people. Well, it's time to wake up. The world isn't that way anymore, and it's about time that Islam is exposed for what it really is: A CULT!
