This book is good, easy to read, and suitable for any age group. If you're from Seattle, you know the teriyaki craze, new joints popping up everywhere. The story really brings a new humor to this local staple. The restaurant "reviews" are my favorite parts of the book; who knew how a person's life could revolve around a single type of food.

The three days that Jennifer put into this book belie the treasures that are within. While a short and quick read, Terroryaki a fun romp. Perhaps some things may be missed by people who don't live in Seattle (namely that it seems there is a Teriyaki joint on every other corner (interposed with Starbucks or some other coffee place). BUT, anyone who has lived through life experiences like trying to help your sibling get ready for a wedding, dealing with overbearing and pushy wedding planners, trying to live up to being the 2nd child in a family, and trying to find your niche in life will identify with Daisy!

Great Job Jennifer

This is a deserving winner of the 3 Day Novel Contest. While the title suggests terror, the terror is more tongue in cheek. The main character is trying to avoid family conflict, find direction in her own life and to find the perfect teriyaki. Ah, yes, and discover the secret of a cursed pirate teriyaki vendor. It's a quick light read. Very well crafted. The characters and situations are amusing. This is a book to read in one sitting. And then go out for teriyaki.
