5.0 out of 5 stars stays cold all day
I grew up in the town these were made and eveybody had them. When I moved away I kept looking for a comparable product, and I couldn't find one. I can put ice in a drink in the morning and it will still be there in the afternoon.
You can buy cheaper tumbler, but you can't buy a better one. They're virtually indestructable - and if you do break one send it to Tervis...

3.0 out of 5 stars Good but not great
Based on the reviews of others, I guess I had too great of expectations for these insulated tumblers. I got years of good service out of a similar product manufactured by Zak Designs out of Spokane, WA. When their seals finally gave way, I turned to these Tervis Tumblers. They do not keep iced drinks as cold as long as the Zak's did, and they are more difficult to hold,...

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding product, October 19, 2004
I had some reservations about plastic glasses, but our floors are all tile, I've dropped and broken a dozen glasses in the past year or so, and I figured it can't hurt to try.

These Tervis tumblers are outstanding to use even if breakage isn't a problem. They are heavy, high-quality plastic; they insulate literally for hours; they never sweat on my wooden surfaces; and they are very comfortable to hold. I was a little concerned that they would look tacky, as many plastic products do, but they are actually quite attractive.

I am delighted with them in every respect. You can get glass for less, but this is definitely one case where you get what you pay for. A superior product, well worth the cost.

These tumblers are truly wonderful! When filled with iced beverages during a hot Florida summer they simply do not sweat. No more table rings and no more watching the ice melt in five minutes. As a bonus, the manufacturer offers a lifetime guarantee and they are dishwasher safe. What more can I say. I have used them for over twenty years and will continue to use them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great "No Sweat" Tumblers! And MADE IN THE USA !, September 24, 2005

These tumblers are great! They do a great job at keeping cold drinks cold, and hot drinks hot. We also have the travel lids that snap onto the tumblers, and they are a great way to save money on bottled water--just fill the tumbler with ice water at home, and it stays cold for several hours. They work great for coffee too! The best thing about the glasses, however, is that they do not sweat--No more coasters needed! Another perk is that they're MADE IN THE USA! Great product!

5.0 out of 5 stars I'd give these 10 stars if I could!, December 9, 2006

I am an American living in Singapore and one of my pet peeves was that the ice in my drink would melt too quickly, leaving me with a watered down, warm concoction. Also, the glasses and plastic cups would sweat horribly. So, I had watered down, hot drinks and messy rings and water on the counter or table. Some of my family came to see us, so I ordered these tumblers based on the reviews by others and hoped for the best. Let me tell you -- I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these tumblers! They do everything they say and more. Singapore is 85-90F and 80-100% humidity year-round, so melting ice was really an irksome problem for me. Because you can put these in the freezer, I fill up the tumbler about 1/4 the way with whatever I plan to drink and put it in the freezer. After it's frozen, I fill it up rest of the way with a few ice cubes and enjoy a wonderfully cold drink! I also bought a set of the lids/straws and take it in the car with me. There have been times I've had ice left in the cup after it has sat in a hot car for over an hour. I'm sold and plan to get more and various sizes next time we have family visit!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tired of sweat, August 16, 2006
I was so tired of picking up my glasses off of a coaster and dripping water everywhere I had to find something to solve the problem. I was going to order some of those double walled glasses that are actually blown glass, but all the reviews warned of breakage when filling the glass with ice. (Even the manufacturer warned not to fill the glass with ice from the refigerator dispensor.) I somehow found the Tervis glasses (they don't show up in the same search for double wall glasses) and decided to give them a try. These glasses are GREAT!! No more coasters! No more water dripping everywhere! Made of the same material as Oakley sunglass lenses, these things are high quality. Order and enjoy.

This review is from: Tervis Tumblers Clear 16oz 4 Pack
Based on the reviews of others, I guess I had too great of expectations for these insulated tumblers. I got years of good service out of a similar product manufactured by Zak Designs out of Spokane, WA. When their seals finally gave way, I turned to these Tervis Tumblers. They do not keep iced drinks as cold as long as the Zak's did, and they are more difficult to hold, especially when they sweat in the Arkansas humidity. They do sweat just enough to make them slippery to grasp in one hand, and they do leave rings. Since few products seem to be made as good as they used to be, these are probably the best now available. That is, if you can afford them. This is a good product, but not a great one. I am not convinced that they are worth the extra expense.

These cups are exactly what they say they are. They keep cold beverages cold... for quite some time too.
They're a good size, attractive and clean nicely. Well worth the money.

Our experience to date with these tumblers has been positive. They have survived the dishwasher test. Lower cost tumblers from a major retailer either leaked or warped in the dishwasher.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Insulated Glasses I've found!, November 13, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Tervis Tumblers Clear 16oz 4 Pack
I have ordered several sets of the Tervis insulated glasses for the past few years...some of them to use and a lot of them as gifts. I have all sizes of them but prefer the 16oz. My kids tell me every year that they could use 'another' set for Christmas...they get them! I haven't found any flaws in them yet but granddaughter had one to come apart into two pieces...she still uses it rather than throw it away.! (I think she dropped it on her tile floor!) I like the small juice size also as they are a great size for the 3 year olds....even though they are not insulated. (The glasses, not the 3 year olds.)
