Tervis 24 oz. Big T Clear Tumbler

I bought this tumbler along with the insulated Tropix tumblers of the same size. The Tropix ones come in a set of 4 for under ten dollars, while these are over ten dollars just for one. With that said, I much prefer the Tervis tumbler over the Tropix. The Tervis ones feel much stronger, are heavier, and have a better feel to them. I actually had one of these cups slide off of a shelf and fall 7 feet onto a ceramic tile floor, and neither the glass nor tile cracked. They both perform the same in regards to insulating the beverage. Some people say that they don't sweat, but they do, it's just VERY slightly; some may not even notice it. You may get a little moisture on the outside, but it's not bad at all, and it's not enough to fall down to the bottom of the cup and cause a water mark. Think of it as if you were to breathe on a mirror, that's the kind of moisture you'll see. Also, the nice thing about these cups over the Tropix ones is that they will fit in a cars drink holder because of the formed bottom. If you add the toppers, then they'll stay even more insulated. FYI, the toppers do not fit the tropix glasses. Lastly, the Tropix glasses have a lower-quality look to them, but as far as function goes, they perform the exact same as the Tervis ones.

After 4 months of use, these glasses are now the only ones I use and I can't recall the last time I had to use a coaster. As for the colors, the blue and the clear are nice, the teal one is just so-so. FYI: I looked all around trying to find an insulated glass that was at least 32oz, but I didn't find a thing; these were the largest ones that I could find.

Dimensions are: 7 7/8" height, 3 7/8" top diameter and 2 5/8" bottom diameter.

They also have mugs, small glasses, medium, and large jumbo glasses for iced tea, etc. These are my absolute favorite glasses and cups. They keep stuff hot and cold. You can order them with any design you want. I have wolves and pink flamingos on mine. I also have a set with song birds. They are so tough and have a life time warranty. I can leave a glass of iced tea in my console of the car with the lid on it and the ice is still in it hours later in a 120 degree vehicle! I would recommend these to anyone.

I am very happy with this product. I live in Indonesia where it is hot and humid all the time, and this product is perfect for me. The size is just right for this kind of weather because I need lots of water especially with meals and with this I do not need to refill as often anymore. It allows me to concentrate on enjoying my food.

In this kind of weather, I always drink cold drinks with lots of ice. Unfortunately that makes my glass "sweat" a lot, and this is really a bother. This tumbler does not stop condensation completely but there is only very little there anyway. I do not need to use a coaster with this tumbler because there is no need to. It saves my wooden furniture! Moreover, it also keeps my drink cold longer.

The lid on one of the two tumblers that I have does have some sharp edge, however, but it is not really bothering me.

These are the best insulated tumbler I have ever used. They really keep the beverage cold and the ice does not melt quickly.
I use them for golf and it keeps the water and ice perfectly through the round even on a very hot day.

I love the glasses and I also bought the lids. What I did not purchase were the straws. I did not think I would need them but I have found out that the glasses with the lids on were very hard to drink out of with out pouring it down the front of you. I am not sure I would purchase again. I feel the staws are overpriced and should actually come with the glasses for what you are paying!

$12 for a large tumbler may sound like a lot of money, but it's worth it. No rings on the furniture, ice doesn't melt for hours and hours and it's very sturdy. Also, they're made in the US, which means less worries about lead and such. Not much more to say...no complaints.

I bought this tumbler because I have had 3 computer keyboards ruined by dripping condensation off of my drink glass, not to mention water damage to my desktop. I have only used it for about one day but with an ice cold drink sitting on my desk for hours, not a single drop of condensation fell off of it. As others have pointed out, you can feel a very slight amount of moisture on the outside after a while, but it is so little that it is never enough to form a droplet or a ring at the bottom. I'm 100% confident I will never ruin another keyboard from condensation droplets as long as I use this great tumbler. I'm glad I found this, but I wish I would have found it sooner, it would have saved me the cost of 3 new keyboards, which probably cost me like $60-$80.

We purchased this item along with their smaller companions. Very good quality. Ice lasts considerably longer than uninsulated glassware. There are only three issues to know about. The rims have a slight but discernable (with your lower lip) line of elevation change where the plastic was fused approximately one half inch down the ourside. This became a non-issue after using the glasses for a bit. second, that when full, these large glasses are not as stable as some other glasses due to their somewhat narrow base, although we have yet to have any spills. Lastly, the glasses we ordered in multi-colors actually came with many more blue ones; I thought there would be an equal number of each color. Not an issue for us.

I live in Florida and use the 20oz Tervis tumbler for everything! Will not sweat and keeps things cold for a LONG time. I leave the cup in my hot car for over 2 hours, and the ice is not even melted! Boaters world of all places, seems to be the cheapest price out there, at $10.00 for 20oz. If I had to pay $20.00 for one tumbler, they are worth it! Don't listen to negative reviews of people that are cheap, no other tumbler compares to Tervis, period!

I have the 24oz. and 17oz. mugs. Regular glasses sweat with ice and make a mess. These Tervis cups do not sweat or sweat enough to make a mess. I put ice in these cups and most of the ice is still there in 6-hours. The 24 oz has a tapered base. Thought it would tip over easy but somehow with the fluid in the glass it is hard to tip it over. Improvements I would like to see is still a wider base for mixing the contents. I also drink a lot and would like a larger 28-30oz. glass. The Tervis products are still excellent.
