The cars are cool, fast and awsome. My favorite, the Viper GTS-R beats all odds to save the day.Edinburgh,Scottland is probably the best track in the game with its massive jumps near the end.Or maybe it's San Fransisco with its masive jumps.Thank you infogrames.

Test Drive 5 is an awesome game with lots of cool cars, tracks, and modes to play in. It has cars and tracks that can be uncovered bywinning championships, and even backwards tracks. The graphics are awesome. The soundtrack is one of the best parts, with Pitchshifter, Gravity Kills, KMFDM, Junkie XL, and more. The game is very good. Buy it if you like car racing.Five starz! * * * * *

Especially if you get if for the Playstation. Fast, furious fun that might be downplayed on slower computers. It all depends on your computer, otherwise look for the Playstation version.

This series is so far behind some other racing series out there, I'm amazed that it's still around. I've played Test Drive 1-6, and strangely enough, TD4 was the best version. 5 took a giant step backward. The driving physics are much worse than before. The car selection, as always, is pretty good, but the cars out-accelerate and out-handle their real-world counterparts so much that it's not even fun. There are 5 games in the Need For Speed series now and TD5 places in quality between NFS and NFS2. That's pretty poor. Spend your dough on NFS3: Hot Pursuit, NFS4: High Stakes, or NFS5: Porsche Unleashed. They are all leagues ahead of this thing.

Surley an A+ game. With 28 cars, tons of tracks, great grafics and a mode where your the cop this is the game to get. If you think it's too hard you can get chats that DON'T take the fun out of it and still leave it a chalenge. I'm not saying this is for every one it is probably too hard for your average 10 year old. Every time you win a cup championship you un lock tracks, cars, and different style championships. If your looking for a more for your money this is the game, considering it should be sold for twice the amount it's being sold for. Trafic, cops, bad weather, and your hard-to-beat fighting rivles make every race a real chalenge, unles, of course your a sissy and wimp out!

- Test Drive 5 is the latest TD game i've ever tried since the first game (old timers should remember that game ;) )... Anyways, except for good and detailed tracks/roads, and its music, this game sucks! I mean, look at the graphics, its like we are back at the old NES days: The cars looks like cans, cars sounds? There isent any. They sound like tractors ready to be burried, the handling? NONE AT ALL! The game is almost impossible to complete (unless you know some sort of cheat). Shame on you, who ever made this game... Before making a game, learn to design better graphics and 3D designs! Anyone who write good stuffs about this game....

Not worth your time--yet,

Test Drive 5 for the PC is in a class with some very spectacular driving games. However, Test Drive 5 falls short of its competitors. It seems fine, but if you ever play Need for Speed III or Microsoft's Midtown Madness, you will gladly toss Test Drive 5 into the trash. The cars look nothing like their real counterparts, most tracks are locked, the cars do not handle well, and you cannot go "off-course", which is one of the best things about TD5's competitors. I would recommend putting your money toward a more worthy game, such as NFS 3 or Midtown Madness.
