Put yourself in the stunt-driver's seat with Test Drive Off-Road 3, which gives players the chance to race brand-name 4 x 4 vehicles, like the Hummer or Cherokee, over courses like Mount Fuji, Yosemite, the Yucatan, and the Canadian Rockies.

The game lets you customize off-road vehicles and then push them to their limits--flying over jumps, splashing through riverbeds, and weaving amid trees in the dead of night. Amid these choices, just winning a quick race in the arcade round can be a significant challenge. But when players have mastered the fundamentals, they will enjoy trying their luck in the money rounds. On the race circuit, victory provides cash for vehicle improvements and new trucks. If you can stay in the winner's circle, you qualify for even faster races on ever-tougher courses.

Test Drive Off-Road 3 has the look of an older video game--the graphics are somewhat fuzzy, enabling maximum speed of play. In compensation, the game comes with an adrenaline-pumping soundtrack and lots of variety. The vehicles and race locales are realistically rendered and can be combined in hundreds of mixes as you look to match the optimal vehicle to each course. This is a good game if you have a non forcefeedback steering wheel or joystick It is impossible to play with a Sidewinder Force feedback wheel. If you have a regular joystick it is a good game. Because the wheel just goes all over the pace it is no fun at all! If you have force go with a differant game.

This is a great choice for kids who don't have the latest computers. It runs fine on a five year old computer and you don't need more than keyboard commands to play. The levels are challenging and you can customize you vehicle as you go. Fun off road race game.

This game is the boom (dont be afraid to byy this if you have windows x.p. it works good) the grafics are great the t-rex is the best car. buy it!
