Book Description

The Quick Notes Learning System September 1, 1998
Test-Prep Mathematics is for people who want to quickly study basic highschool mathematics. They may be taking a test, starting a new career, returning to school, or wanting a summer review.

Only the most important concepts are explained by the 49 one-page learning outlines of Test-Prep Mathematics. Minimizing descriptive material makes learning difficult concepts easier.

Each learning outline is followed by an adjoining page of practice problems. Additional practice problems are provided for those needing more practice.

The book begins with a pre-test and ends with a post test.

Each part of the book ends with a quiz. There are six one or two page basic concepts reviews to help users prepare for quizzes. There are also 6 cumulative reviews to help people maintain skills.

Complete solutions are provided for the tests and quizzes. Answers are provided for all other problems.

"Quick Notes were fast and easy to use. It made all the difference in being able to go home and understand problems." "English is my second language and Quick Notes was easier for me." "Quick Notes explained thoroughly how to do the problems. It was a help when I couldn't understand the text. It made difficult material easier to understand." "Quick Notes is terrific - design concepts are clearly stated and the self-tests are very helpful." -- These reviews were taken from course evaluations by students using "The Quick Notes Series".

From the Author

Because each learning unit can be done in 15 minutes, I almost named this book Fifteen Minutes a Day to Better Mathematics Skills.
