A Fitting, If Strange, Conclusion,

This review is from: Testament VOL 04: Exodus (Paperback)
Spoilers May Be Included In This Review
Testament always suffered from the problem that the bible stories were the more fascinating component. This last book wraps up the struggle between humans, gods and their new god, currency by allowing humans to transcend into the realm of the gods. It feels, rightfully so, since it was canceled early, that this was a stopgap ending, and much more was desired to be explored. Regardless, it works, we see our characters end up where they need to be, and the ideas toyed with are novel. I would love for Rushkoff to tackle another comics project, be it series length or a mini-series. |
