Poor binding on the book. Way too much money for lack of quality.,

I bought the Italian New Testament for my 80 year old mother-in-law. She would sit quietly on the sofa and read it. She never took it to church or any Bible studies. It never left her living room. In spite of that, the binding started to break in less than a year from the date of purchase. I paid around $50 for it, so I was very disappointed and contacted the seller. They said that they would not be able to help me since it left their store in good condition.
