If you're a fan of sampler albums like I am, you'll love this one. I picked this up as a cassette in a Kmart in the late 80's when I was just getting interested in Christian metal and wore it out. There were so many good songs on here that I found a number of great new bands to check out like Whitecross, Shout, and of course Barren Cross. The only real weak spot here is the Mark Farner song, which is a weird blues number completely out of place on a collection that specifically says "The Best of Christian Metal". Mastedon's "Wasn't It Love" is on here and it's a great song, but it seemed to be the standard Mastedon song on every compilation CD of the time (It's on California Metal Vol 1 as well). Still, this is a great CD and definitely one every fan of classic Christian metal should have.
