Pope John Paul II not only believed his message of embracing the cross of our great mentor and savior he was one of the highest exemplars of his message.This book is breathtaking in the exposition of our late great pope's message and deserves to be recognized as such. Another great book is "At The Altar of the World" that equally showcases what this pope was about. If the reader is also interested in a similar discovery of this man's legacy of truth and social justice there are a multitude of books available from Amazon. As an avid-reader of his works and an individual who is constantly being surprised at their content and depth I truly hope others will also avail themselves of this opportunity. I just recently purchased, "The President, the Pope and the Prime Minister." This book is just another example of the recommendations I have made and hopefully (without being repetitive) will find its way into the presence of other readers. |
