I received this airbrush in a timely manner, and it does what I expect it to. I know it's for acrylic paint for use with scale models; I use it for applying Gun-Kote and cold phosphate pre-treatment solution for firearms refinishing. It takes a bit of trial and error to figure out the spray pattern and dispersal, but once you do, it works great. A word of caution, though. This airbrush isn't for detail work; it's for covering larger areas quickly.

I've owned and used this model of Testors airbrush in the past and would buy one again if I had the use for it. Testors has produced this airbrush for a long time, although the style of the design has changed, the function is the same as the original I had years ago. It's not for detail work at all, but if you want the freedom of the use of a wide range of colors and to mix your own shades and colors from what's available. This is a very good choice for general use spray painting without using can paint, which is limited in it's choices in some areas. The one thing I really liked about this airbrush is that you can control the paint flow (unlike a spray can). So it is easy to avoid over spraying resulting in an uneven coat.
