5.0 out of 5 stars What every patient should know
Every patient needs to know the importance of Dr. Gordon's work. It should also inspire other scientists to create studies in this area. The book is written well so it is attainable by all readers. After reading this book, people will know to check with their doctors and make sure they have been tested for testosterone levels. A low level effects so many areas. The...

3.0 out of 5 stars An easy read
This a great basic read. It does not get into the depth that many might seek. It does make a very strong case for male testosterone replacement [TRT].

The author thinks that testosterone injections are the only method worthy of consideration. It sounds like all of his clients go to his office for injections, mostly at 3 week intervals. Many guys on TRT know...

This review is from: Testosterone Deficiency: The Hidden Disease: A major Health Issue for Every Woman - Every Man (Paperback)
This a great basic read. It does not get into the depth that many might seek. It does make a very strong case for male testosterone replacement [TRT].

The author thinks that testosterone injections are the only method worthy of consideration. It sounds like all of his clients go to his office for injections, mostly at 3 week intervals. Many guys on TRT know that this produces [often very] poor results and this seems to be in conflict with the success stories in the book. Many feel much better injecting every week or more often; which is best done as self injections at home. Looking past that part, this is still a great read, more inspirational than practical. There is nothing addressing the problems of finding a Doctor who knows how to do TRT correctly.

The book has an unforgivable lack of an index and does not cite any research. As a resource to revisit, it is not as useful as it could be.

After reading this book, people will know to check with their doctors and make sure they have been tested for testosterone levels. A low level effects so many areas. The use of it has had a positive effect on myself after only a few injections. For all those interested in improving their own health and the health of others.

This book contained the answers my husband has been trying to find for over 6 years! After reading the book, he had his testosterone levels checked and his were severly low. He started replacement therapy and has already seen improvement in less than 2 months. After being mis-diagnosed and treated for depression, insomnia and mood disorders it is a welcome relief to finally get the right diagnosis! A must read for any man that is having symptoms of depression, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, weight gain, sexual changes and has not found relief from antidepressants or other treatments!

this book is vague and gives little to no incite in to testosterone and/or TRT. It talks nothing about treatment except for one time, where it says i give 300 to 400mg every 3 to 4 weeks. save your money buy a different book on this subject i have purchased 4 different books on testosterone and hands down this whole book doesn't even have as much information as one page in the others.

don't let the cover fool you there is no medical data in this book. as i can see it there is 2 references. a guy could have done a better job writing this thing if he was a 5th grader.
