Teva Hurricane 2 Outdoor Sandal (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

I have 4 boys and therefore I am always in the market for good sandals. These Teva sandals are very good quality and I have always had very reliable experiences with Teva. I have the Hurricane sandals for one of my older boys in size 3. They work great for him and are easy to use but my 4 year old who is a size 11 cannot get these on. The back strap does not adjust which is fine for bigger sizes because the strap across the ankle is bigger and can be pulled out much more. In the size 11 the ankle strap can only be opened a little so it is really hard to slide his foot in. Even with my help they are difficult to get on. For smaller feet I recommend the Tyro or Psyclone which works much better instead of the Hurricane. Other than that though the sandals are really great.

Ok, so I got these for myself. I loved Teva's Terradactyles(think 1993-ish?). Anyway, these looked like the closest thing I could find. Anyway, they are extremely comfortable, and as far as sizing goes, the kids 6 is roughly women's 8-8.5. You can compare the sizing on Teva's website if in doubt. And they fit wide, so if you have narrow feet, these probably are NOT the ones for you.

I bought these for my wife who is normally a ladies size 6. I bought her a big girls size 6 and they are actually a little big. Look to be about 1/2 size larger than normal shoe size for my wife. She is happy. Quality and Comfort is high as expected from Teva.

I bought these for my 10-year old. He loves them -- they're so comfortable he wants to wear them even when it's 30 degrees outside. He is hard on his shoes, but these have held up very well.

Teva makes great athletic sandals: durable, great designs, well-made and comfortable, but their sizing is always a full size larger (or more...) than other brands. My daughter wears a 4.5 in other shoes, so I did a silly thing when I ordered a size 6 in this one.

A Big Kid's size 6 is huge! I was stunned to be able to get my foot ( a woman's size 9.5/10) into them; having all of my foot on the sandal! The placement of the sandal straps and the ridge for underneath the toes were obviously off, but I was amazed at how big these actually are for children's footwear.

While I'll probably stash this pair for a couple years down the road, I'll be ordering a size 4 for my daughter to wear this coming spring.

These sandals fit me perfectly and are sturdy enough for my rural outdoor activities. My husband has had a pair for many years, so I am hoping the velcro will hold up as well on mine.

These sandals run about a half size too big. They are a good quality and are great for our water walks and barnyard walks because they are easy to clean too. We have been everywhere in these and have not slipped yet.

I love tevas...and my daughter digs them too. They are pretty colors, good to go with anything she wears. Durable. Good water shoes, and they dry overnight.
Minor upset: If you get the grabby velcroe part stuck on the top of the strap where the pretty fabric design is it will pull off the pretty fabric and fray it, so be careful.

My sons loves his Tevas, and wears them all the time, now that we finally have some decent days in Seattle.
They stay on his feet because of the two adjustable straps. Great shoe for summer.

Great shoes! I always get Tevas for my 3 years old daughter. This particular one have extra sponge on the back. They look great with the jeans as well as with the dress. Thank you. Also, the price was so low, I think it was $25. They are comfortble too.
