This review is from: Teva Men's Open Toachi Sandal (Apparel)
I've owned 3 different pairs of Teva sandals over the years and this being my 4th pair is by far the worst. I purchased the navy blue pair which has a high (somewhat sharp) arch that feels more like a hard stone under your foot. No amount of adjustment seems to help. I also own the leather version of the open Toachi which are comfortable and have a more contoured arch.

I bought on April 11, 2009, one pair of "Teva Men's Open Toachi Sandal, Midnight Navy,9.5 M US", sold by: Amazon/Bargain Outfitters, and the sandals last only 6 months with ocasional use before the soles fell off.

Comfortable and Easy on The Feet,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I had read several reviews of this sandal before buying, and I have to say I'm very happy with them.
The adjustement took a little getting used to, and I would recommend that you play with the strap adjustments a bit so that you can get the arch placed under "your" foot's arch. At first, I had the back strap too tight which eneded up pushing my foot too far forward in the sandal. But a little playing with the adjustment did the trick. The greatest thing about these is the fact that once you have everything adjusted, you can simply use the clips to take them on and off. This is so much better than earlier sandals I've had from the same company, which used only velcro straps that made a lot of noise and started to fray after a while. The drains in the sole are a neat feature, although I'm not sure if beach sand will eventually clog them. So far I've had no trouble (although I haven't gotten them really soaked either). The price is a bit steep for sandals (in my opinion - since they are not everyday footwear and sneakers can be found for less), but all in all these are highly recommended. 2115|R1DJQBJT9PBAQM;2115|R3BIHYAJ0LRXX5;2115|RQ8F6MP6MTBLQ;
