The rubber sole seems to be pretty sturdy in comparison with most other brands.
They don't get water logged at all - the material is so lightweight it drains/dries out quickly and easily - no sloshing around in these!
He goes into the water with them, and when he leaves the pool, the water comes out the shoes fast, so he can walk and play with them.
