I have three pairs of the Merrell Encore Breeze shoes, and they're a breeze! They're extremely comfortable and required no break-ins. When I saw this MJ I thought they would be as comfortable so I bought a pair for a little kick of style. Big mistake! This shoe has the same footbed as the Breeze but the sole is much thinner and the toe area is higher so it offers no support whatsoever. It actually hurts! The straps are itchy and the open ends rub against the back of my heels. For the price and the ability of being able to wear only once, this is the most expensive pair of shoes I've ever bought!

However, I applaude the vendor (Shoeflake). They're extremly fast in shipping. I placed the order on Friday 7/10 and received the shoes Monday 7/13. I will buy from this vendor again, just different shoes.

Pros: lightweight, versatile style. I like the leather option I got instead of the meshy fabric.

Cons: I guess I have really wide feet, because these Merrells just aren't wide enough in the toe box. All my toes are squished. Unfortunately, I'll be sending these back. I'm not sure if a 1/2 size up would be any better or just longer.

Bottom line: cute shoes but not for wide feet.

Attractive, comfortable, not too pricey--these are great descriptors of the Merrell Encore MJ shoe. I bought my pair (beige and tan) on a trip to Dallas almost a year ago and have worn them through winter, spring, and summer (not every single day).

The solid rubber-like sole cushions the foot from hard floors, provides great support, yet is designed to look attractive. What I especially like is the wide range of colors with each color providing a different look, and in some cases, a different style. I favor the Mary Jane look, which is what initially attracted me to this shoe. What you get here is a playful look--Mary Jane--with comfort and style. This shoe is a definite winner!

I have never bought shoes online before but am so confident of the Merrell shoe, I am taking a chance. Let's see how the navy Encore MJ shoes wear!

These sandals are very comfortable and nice looking. They are also true to size and don't confuse potential buyers with inacurate US/UK sizing translations. Recommend strongly.

This is a great, trendy sandal. It is sleek and sensible. It is made well, and it is comfortable. The size runs a bit larger; order a 1/2 size smaller for the perfect fit. The strap hits optimally on the foot. The ankle strap is a great fit for normal ankles. It is stretchy, so it works for slightly larger ankles... and the velcro is larger, so it also works for smaller adjustments.

I am getting another pair of these shoes, after wearing the ones I have (black) for almost two years, about every day. And they still look good, and the soles are still in great shape! They have only now started to wear out in the arch. But they really are still comfy, to be honest. From day one, they never hurt. Also I have a bad back, and feet issues. With these shoes my back never hurts like it did, and my feet never ever hurt. I do have other shoes, but always tend to slip these on first. Now I am just trying to decide on a new color..? I think I may have to get a summer and winter pair. Also, I never wear socks with them. I get many 'i like your shoes' from people.

This is the PERFECT shoe (MERRELL ENCORE M) for pregnancy. I am pregnant with my third child and I have always had issues with my feet, from pain from walking too much, swelling, and most of all my shoes becoming too tight. My sister purchased these for me and swore by them, so I tried them out. My feet JUST do NOT hurt anymore! If my feet are swelling a little bit more one day, I simply just adjust the strap. This shoe for me was both comfortable with or without socks. These shoes are a godsend because it's one less thing I have to concern myself about while pregnant. I strongly suggest this shoe for women who have swelling and pain in their feet while pregnant!

You can not exchanage these shoes (unworn, in original packaging, two days after receipt) if you order from MetroShoeWarehouse. You can only return them, thereby losing shipping costs both ways, as well as a $4.00 handling fee. Per MSW customer service, this is an Amazon policy. I love Merrell shoes, but these ran small, and I was extremely disappointed with the response I received from MSW's customer service department. I also asked for follow up clarification, and received no response. I will be sure to order shoes from a more reputable vendor when I order this pair again in my size. Very disappointed with this purchase. MetroShoeWarehouse has great prices, but don't order unless you are 100% sure of your size. I will stick with the big online shoe vendors from now on.

These sandals are very cute and great for wearing with a skirt. They are comfortable, but not super comfortable, so I find them okay for short walking distances, but not for more significant walks.

I walked the streets of Tokyo with this shoe all day and my feet did not hurt the next day. I purchased this shoe when I was 8 months pregnant and my feet hurt every day. Once I started to wear this pair of shoes my feet did not hurt as much. After the baby was born this pair of shoes became my wear everyday to run erands shoes. I love them. I plan on buying another pair in a different color.
