Teva Women's X-1 Control Trail Running Shoe

I never knew Teva made jogging shoes. However, I needed a pair of shoes to jog in the red sand of the southeastern Arizona desert and so many of the standard Nike or Asics which I normally buy are white. They would look fairly nasty quickly given the dusty dirt roads I'm jogging on.

Then I saw the Teva tennie. I've always loved Tevas -- they are the best shoe for scuba diving -- for shore or boat. They are always strapped to the back of my backpack on weeklong mountain treks, giving my boot-sweaty feet a marvelous break in camp. Once on the ridge line, they are often the only footwear I use.

Tevas have always been known for their durability. Now, that same quality assurance and durability in a jogging shoe, seems like a no-brainer. These are great.

If you've got flat feet, you'll love these for moderate hiking and trail running. They combine stability with great cushioning that doesn't pound into/under your arches.

I wear a 9 and based on reviews and previous purchase of a Teva lace-ups, I decided to purchase a 9.5. The front is a little narrow, so the additional half size worked out really well.

Good quality and good looking, especially for the price. There really is no room for complaints.

The first time I put these shoes on, I thought these were the most comfortable shoes I had ever put on. They felt light and cushioned, and I felt no pain after long walks in them. They do run on the smallish side, and ordering 1/2 size up is probably warranted.
Now 3 months of not that heavy use later I find I prefer some of my older sneakers. They still feel comfortable, but my feet start to hurt after long wear, which does not happen with most of my other shoes that I have used as much or even more. Overall pretty good shoes when the price is right (and I definitely would not pay full price for them).

Needed new running shoes, have a 1/2 marathon coming up soon and all of mine are worn out. I went otu on a limb purchasing a pair I've never tried on let alone a brand that I had no idea made trail runners. They are very comfortable, at first they seemed a tad tight, I found my feet fallign asleep if I tied the laces too tightly. But, lightweight, great colors, and even have refelctors on then.

The shoe looked much better in photo and wasn't what I needed. The return was easy and the credit back came quickly and the shipping to me was fast. Just didn't like the product.
