5.0 out of 5 stars So comfortable. Love the patterns.
I've been a fan of Teva's Mush flip flop for years, but this summer I decided to try the Mandalyn style for a little variety. I'm so glad I did! Now I'm a fan of both styles.

3.0 out of 5 stars mandalyn
I just didn't like them because they are not a cushy as the mush style ones. I was disappointed because I really like the colors.

I've been a fan of Teva's Mush flip flop for years, but this summer I decided to try the Mandalyn style for a little variety. I'm so glad I did! Now I'm a fan of both styles.

The footbed on the Mandalyn Flip Flop is firmer than that on the Mush, but it's comfortable just the same. Where the Mush has a squishy mold-to-your-foot footbed, the Mandalyn has a soft but firm footbed. I live in the city so I do a lot of walking, and I can walk for miles quite comfortably in my Mandalyn Flip Flops.

With regard to the straps, both styles are equally comfortable (no rubbing or blisters). The Mandalyn straps are covered in a satiny fabric that has a dressier look than the woven nylon straps on the Mush. I bought the Sweden Eucalyptus pattern and I love it! It's funky and looks great with khaki. But I haven't tested how well the Mandalyn straps hold up to water, so I still love my Mush flip flops for the beach and pool. The Mush's nylon straps rinse in water and dry fast; I'm just not sure if the fabric covered straps on the Mandalyn are quite as wash and wear (I'll update this review when I find out!).

So all in all I've been really happy with the comfort and stylish look of Teva's Mandalyn Flip Flops. As I longtime Mush wearer, the firmer footbed took some getting used to, but now I really love it. I'm sure I'll be back to buy more patterns!

(One last note...while the Mandalyn Flip Flop is very comfortable, I can't say the same for the Mandalyn Wedge. While certainly that comparison belongs in another review, I just wanted to point out that Teva has two different Mandalyn styles that should not be confused.)

2.0 out of 5 stars tevas quality is no longer what is used to be, May 10, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
teva has changed their shoe to an extent the size has even changed and they are thinner. not near the quality of when i started purchasing them years ago. this will be the last pair of tevas I purchase. I can't justify one thing about current tevas that seperate the price point from any other flip flop now that the comfort is gone

I treat myself to a new pair of Teva flip flops every year. They are comfortable and reasonable in price. This pair is great, although the straps felt tighter than the other pairs I've bought in previous years.

I love my TEVA flip flops. They are most comfortable and sturdy flip flops that I have worn in a long time. I wear them everywhere from just around the house, to go shopping, or to the beach. As I live in Florida, I live in flip flops all year long. I have other TEVA shoes and they are sturdy and comfortable. You can't go wrong.

I find these Tevas to be very comfortable. I have wide feet, but these have plenty of room.
These are the only flip flops that I wear now. You can walk around all day in them!

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Mush., May 24, 2011

I got these to replace my very worn Teva Mush flip flops. Although I loved the Mush flip flops, I love these, too. I did like how soft the Mush flip flops were, but that made the material more vulnerable, thus making my feet more vulnerable. I like how the Mandalyn flip flops do not stay bent or curved after a while. And although they do not mold to your feet quite the same as the Mush ones, the firmness gives good support. I guess it's one of those personal preference things. Do you prefer a soft, squishy bed, or a firm one? I prefer a firm one. These flip flops are much firmer. I can walk around in these flip flops for hours at a time without any pain. They've held up much better than my Mush ones did, and it looks as though they've still got lots of life left in them, even after regular wear for over a year.

Love these shoes. Bought these for a two week trip to Hawaii and wore almost every day other than hikes taken and they were great and felt good. These are my daily go to shoes now.

4.0 out of 5 stars Teva Shoes, September 25, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These shoes were great. I wore them all around Israel. The only problem I had was they rubbbed against the top of my foot in a weird way and I got a mark on my foot from it. I broke them in but the mark is going away slowly. Once broken in, they are very comfy.
