5.0 out of 5 stars Love 'Em
My family has been buying these shoes for years. They are so comfortable and it feels like walking on a cloud. They form to your feet after about a week of wearing. The only problem is you have to replace them after about a year if they are your only shoe. They eventually flatten out a bit. But, for the comfort, it is a small price to pay $20 a year for comfort like this.

2.0 out of 5 stars Just Okay
After reading reviews and hearing a coworker rave about Teva Mush sandals, I hoped I would love these, but they did not feel as great as I anticipated. I have to send them back for a refund.

On a brighter note, I bought Teva Elixer sandals. Flip flops with arch support! Awesome. Give them a try!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best flip-flops ever!, June 5, 2007
I love Teva Mush flip-flops. I wear them almost constantly. In the winter months I wear these as my houseslippers! In the summer I wear them everywhere. A pair usually lasts me 1-2 years. Then I get some new ones. They are well worth the money. They form to your feet which makes them very comfortable!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE flip-flop... never felt a flip-flop as comfortable as these!, May 16, 2009
So, I have wanted these for quite some time. I researched them online, price compared, etc. (yes, sometimes I have a little too much free time). A co-worker had them, and I loved that they were SO AMAZINGLY comfortable.

Now, I normally wear a size 12 in women's tennis shoes, and an 11 in most flip flops. I tried on the size 11s in womens at the shoe store, and they were FAR from fitting (the top strap and the length).

Well, back to the drawing board. While I knew I would need to go w/mens, I am very weird about wearing mens shoes. Yes, I have large feet, but that doesn't mean I should look "manly". So, the Teva Mush worked out PERFECTLY. All of the colors are pretty "masculine".... EXCEPT for the "tread black". After close inspection, I found that they're the EXACT SAME in women's and in mens. So, I knew I could swing it - no one would know the difference! I thought for sure I would need a 10, since that would be an 11.5-12 in women's. Tried it on - STILL didn't fit. Again, too short (my heel hung off) and too tight in the strap. So, after trying on the men's 11, it was a PERFECT fit. I also got my daughter a pair, who wears a 1-2 this year in Old Navy flip flops, and she needed a size 3 in these!!! So, heed the warning - I'd say definitely go up a size! I will also say - the top DOES stretch out (in a good way). When I first put these on I literally had to CRAM them on. I was very close to not buying them, because of how hard I had to work to get the straps on. But, they loosened up a tad just in walking the aisle at the store, so I figured there was hope. I was so excited about how comfortable they were, that I paid for them, and hurried to the car to throw them on. I wore them the rest of the day, and didn't even know I had shoes on! I was fully expecting a "break in" period, especially since they were so tight, but they were amazing from the time I slipped them on.

These are literally the most comfortable shoes I've EVER owned... and I've owned many pairs of Birkenstocks, and 2 pairs of Crocs. They can't hold a flame to these Teva Mush flip flops!

I tried these on at a box store, but the choice of colors were very limited...so...I came home and ordered these. You put them on and they were like slippers. No breaking them in, instant comfort, no sore feet. I love the comfort of the strap and the nylon between the toes instead of leather or hard plastic like flipflops normally are. In fact, I ordered another pair in a different color the very next week. Friends have seen them and tried them on, and then went to the amazon website and ordered 2 pairs each for themselves. I highly recommend these flipflops.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super squishy and comfy., October 4, 2008
These sandals are really great - wide straps with soft material that fits my feet just right. I wear a size 6 and they fit very true to size and aren't too long or too wide. They seem pretty durable so far too; I'll never buy another pair of stupid old navy flip flops again. The only thing that's weird is I've noticed that when they get wet or if your feet are sweating they make a loud squeeky noise when walked in...

3.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing; sizing is off, May 28, 2010

Based on the reviews and after a lot of research, I went with these flip-flops. I will be in my last trimester of pregnancy through the summer and needed some VERY comfy and supportive basic flops. Unfortunately, I am a half-size and went up in size, which was a mistake. These were way too loose. I would absolutely recommend going down if you are a half-size.

I wore them food shopping and by the end my feet ached. Which was exactly what I was trying to remedy. This may be due to the sizing issue, so I would never give lower than a 3 star. The soles were, indeed "mush" and pretty comfy and I can see how they would wear to the shape of my foot. BUT, the "Teva" logo right on the heel was pretty noticeable and affected the support in that spot.

What really adds to my lower rating: the flops made a very obvious squeek from the sole of my dry foot (on the shoe, not the floor). In addition, there were some wet spots in the supermarket that the shoes slipped on - kind of surprising considering the soles (and, again, my purpose in needing sturdy flops for late pregnancy).

I have the other Tevas, "Olowahu," with cross-straps that I love, but they are sized quite differently. I would just say that these may not be worth the $$ unless you can try them on and they're a perfect fit.

4.0 out of 5 stars MUSH Teva's are marvelous !!, January 9, 2009
I have worn TEVA's for years. I have a high arch, but love wearing zorries and the arch construction in TEVA's works well for me.

Love the MUSH "slippers". I live in Hawaii and also live in zorries, so I have quite a closet full of various colors. They are comfortable from the get-go and form to your foot after a few wearings. Give you a little bit more long range comfort because of the extra padding.

One warning: They tend to squish out a bit eventually and the shoe starts looking slightly too large on your feet, so I've started to buy 6's instead of 7's (they only come in whole sizes regrettably) and just live with the fact that my feet are just fitting the shoe as I hate it when the rubber begins to spread out and then they look sloppy on my feet.

The MUSH tends to be cut about 1/4 inch shorter than the new Toolani style (sadly replaced the old Ulani style), so keep this in mind when ordering for fit. I am right in between a 6 and 7, but going smaller works for me.

Otherwise, adore these zorries.

5.0 out of 5 stars Never looked back, September 1, 2008
I bought a pair of these flops two years ago and have been happy ever since.

My previous pair of high-priced flops had flipped off my foot (dangerously) when the toe thong broke in mid-step, sending me flying across a wet pool deck. Only a great sense of balance saved me from breaking my neck, or worse.

But the toe thong on Teva is made of tough poly weave---not a plastic or rubber strip--and it is firmly fixed to the shoe bottom, showing no signs of stress or likely weakness to endanger me while walking on wet surfaces.

And after all, that's what pool deck shoes are supposed to do--- keep me from slipping.

The toe thong on these shoes is also amazingly comfortable. Wearing them does not feel like donning a torture chamber specially manufactured for feet. In addition, the sole is a soft cushion that comforts and supports bare feet.

So from now on, Teva has my vote for swimming flops. Never again will I wear Chinese-made dollar-store variety of water shoes, which never fit right, and are always a safety hazard.
