5.0 out of 5 stars The Texan Scouts.
This book was an eye opener for this Native Texan. In school we were taught about the siege and fall of the Alamo and heard the phrases"Remember the Alamo, and Remember Goliad,
but not a lot of details other than the one's we saw at the movies. This book was full of surprises and keeps you glued to it until the end.I learned so much and will definitely be reading more...

3.0 out of 5 stars Entertaining
This is the second in a line of three historical fiction books of Texas by the author. It is very entertaining and good historical fiction. Hemingway once said, "read what I write for the pleasure of the reading, whatever else you find there is a measure of what you brought to the reading." I just enjoyed it.
