Hearing is Believing,

Is there room for well-done humor in MUSIC? Absolutely, and this abbreviated CD does the job with artistry. Like Spike Jones, this studio creation takes certain "instruments" and shows that music is in the ear and in the player regardless of the medium. My personal favorite is "Sabre Dance" as it truly cuts to the bone. The artistry is overwhelming, and everytime I play it I start to giggle, and wind up satisfied. Try playing it for friends without stating its genre, and sample their responses. Do not take it to Boston, as everyone knows that Boston lost its sense of humor when Tom Lehar departed for the Hungry I, e.g. see the affronted bean eaters responses to Wendy Carlos. Anyone who is long in the tooth will enjoy this buzzing masterpiece. AMDG

Texas Chainsaw Orchestra,

This CD is great. All of the music on it is played entirely on power tools. Everyone I've played it for has loved it, and I've never heard anything like it anywhere else. Truly one of a kind, and very cheap, I recommend this CD to everyone. If you know about any albums similar to this, please e-mail me. I loved this one so much I am anxious to know if there is more of this kind of music out there somewhere.

This album features instrumental versions of well known songs, played entirely on power tools. This is really funny stuff. Can you imagine "I Will Always Love You" being played on a chainsaw? You probably can't, so you need to get this CD to hear it. Recommended to fans of novelty music.
