Calculus is easy for this graphing calculator. It finds derivative, limits and tons of other calculus. It can graph piecewise functions which is helpful. It can factor and solve quadratics, quartics and higher. Get it; you'll fall in love.

This calculator is a must have if you are taking a college level calculus course. Taking derivatives is super simple as well as all of the other functions this calculator has to offer. Not once did I have to change he battery!

Arrived in great condition, as the seller stated. No qualms at all. A great buy from a great seller!

The only thing that I've never liked is that the letters in the screen are way too little, it takes time to get used to it(specially if you are a ti86 or hp's calcs former user), when compared to the newer hp models (50g and so on..) its a toy because of the lack of speed and memory(even the titanium model, try to solve a 21 degree polinomial ecuation in it... and yes some people has to deal with those monsters in real life situations) but its easier to get aroud with it.

From 2+2 to diff q, this is the still the best calculator you can buy. It would be nice if the units were more simply accessed.

The calculator arrived within a week, in excellent condition, with new batteries. Be aware, the "manual" comes as a CD ROM, not a book, so you need a computer and some extra time for the manual to do you any good.

I give a big thumbs-up to this seller for one specific thing. Her honesty and response time is awesome. She happens to have sent me the wrong item and within a couple of hours after alerting her, She responded and promised to refund my money and within a brief period, my money was back in my account. Even though I know this review might sound lame, I cherish this seller's timeliness and sense of honesty. Will surely comeback if other great products come up. Thanks!

I bought this for my daughter who needed it for a college math class. The calculator arrived very quickly. My daughter is very pleased with the calculator. We were both very pleased with the service this company provided. I highly recommend them.

The TI-89 was discontinued several years ago. It has been replaced by the TI-89 Titanium, which is an improved model with more memory, etc. Even so, when new, one would have to be insane to pay this price.

The condition of the item was really really bad. The cap for battery and the cover were missing, and the seller didn't mention anything about it. I would not recommend this seller to any one.
