A photographic sampling of the beauty and diversity of Texas,
By Charles Ashbacher (Marion, Iowa United States) - See all my reviews (TOP 500 REVIEWER) (VINE VOICE) (HALL OF FAME REVIEWER)
This review is from: Texas on My Mind (On My Mind Series) (Hardcover)
This collection of photos captures some of the diversity and grandeur of the state of Texas, from the marshy swamps to the dry deserts. Inside, you can find photos of such diversity as alligators in swamps to cacti in dry, dusty terrain. There are pictures of extremely beautiful wildflowers and land where all the vegetation, what little there is, is all a pale shade of green. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, dark stormy skies and carved mountains are some of the wonders of nations that also grace the pages of this book. No one book can capture a significant fraction of the diversity of the state, but what this one does, it does very well.
