this product is nothing like the white cheese sauce you get in the southeast Us. there is no cheese taste at all it has a vinegar flavor

This is a delicious sauce. On the spicy side, which I like. I made chicken enchiladas and poured the whole jar over the top before baking. Nice and cheesy tasting with a great kick. The reason for the 4 stars is just a personal one for I was a little put off by the color. When I order white cheese sauce in a Mexican restaurant the sauce is just that, white. This sauce is not "blanco" in my opinion. It is a beige color which has nothing to do with the taste by any means. Just not what I expected. Obviously I was not put off too much for I placed another order for 3 jars. Try it if you like spicy! Its good.

I really love the flavor of this dip. The reason I only gave it three stars is because the texture is not appealing. Can't really describe it, it's smooth but its not like melted cheese, more like an artificial like consistency. I mix it it with "real cheese" to get past that texture because the taste is really wonderful.

I agree with one of the other reviewers in that this stuff is green when it should be white, and it doesn't taste like cheese. It's more like loose mayonnaise, with a similar consistency. Amazon took care of me on my purchase, but I don't recommend this dip.

This is great Queso Blanco. If you look at the ingredients you will notate that it has cilantro in it. Hence the somewhat lackluster white. The taste is fantastic. I use this in a recipe for chicken enchiladas that make people wish they could find a Mexican restuarant that served enchiladas this good. I could make the sauce from scratch, but why use my valuable time when Texas Pepper Works will do it for me. I am thrilled that Amazon carries this, because grocery stores within the region I live do not carry Texas Pepper Works. This is one of their best products.
