5.0 out of 5 stars Love the raft
This was a replacement purchase for a raft that our beloved local racoons gnawed to death. The only issue is that of the really strong odor it emits on opening. This was a gift, and my husband wanted to keep it in the house until the weekend because of the new daily visitor/raccoon we've got. The fumes were nauseating and caused us all to have a headache. As long as...

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks great but not that great.
This float looks great in the pictures, but it isn't that great. It is not too thick, so it doesn't work that great as a float. Maybe if you are a very thin or small person it works OK, but for normal people this is not that comfy to float on in the pool. =( Our mini schnauzers like it for floating in the pool or laying on the pool deck though. I think the kids will get...

As long as you know to expect it, who cares?!? Aside from the attraction of the wildlife, these rafts are incredibly comfortable, float closer to the water surface (no sinking fannies), and never deflate. If they were less expensive, we'd have more of them.

Just got it a couple weeks ago for use in the lake. It is lightweight, yet seems very durable. Don't have to worry about leaks, punctures. Very comfortable!

5.0 out of 5 stars pool float, July 25, 2010

I had a float made by Sunsation for about 10 years and it was just splitting around the edges.

I tried waterproof ducktape, but that just got stiff and scratchy, so I needed a sheet on the float for comfort. Otherwise is was still good and is in reserve in the garage. The SUNRAY float is a little thinner and my only problem was the back of my hair got wet on it. I weigh 150 pounds, so perhaps someone heavier would need a thicker float all around. Anyhow, I solved the wet head problem by inserting a styrofoam pool "noodle" through the "tunnel" that forms the head rest and it keeps my head just high enough to keep hair dry and is still very comfortable.

This is the best pool float ever invented!! Only drawback is the price; however, these floats do last many years with proper care.

I love this product and I don't even have a pool. I have a home that has no carpeting (just hard floors), due to allergies. I have no place to exercise, as you can imaging doing sit-ups or anything else on a ceramic tile. I use this float as my floor mat - it is the perfect size, it never loses it's shape and it is very easy to clean up. Just wanted to throw that out there for those of you who like versatility in a product.

I have many floats for my pool and this is by far the most durable. You may be hesitant to purchase because it is more expensive than the blow up kind but it is worth it. Because it is the heavy duty foam, it holds up very well. In fact, my family uses it as a kinda surf board by jumping onto it from the side of the pool! lol...still looks brand new even though I know that isn't its intended purpose! It is a nice float for relaxing as well.
