This review is from: Texas Triumph (Paperback)
From the back of the book: Ranch foreman Cole Elliot couldn't say no to his enticing boss Rachel McKinsey when she proposed marriage in name only.... Nothing was more important to determined Rachel McKinsey that the Circle M - and if it meant taking a near-stranger as a husband to scare off rustlers, she would do it..."
I bought Texas Triumph back in 1987 (I still have my original book). This is a really good story, wonderfully written. I re-read the book periodically and I consider it a DIK (Desert Island Keeper). The main characters have been secretly attracted to each other, thinking the other does not like them in return. When circumstances arise and Rachel needs a man to help her save her ranch she turns to Cole, who agrees to marry her... and they both think the other is really only agreeing to the arrangement for the sake of saving the ranch when in reality it's because of their long denied attractions. This is more than a story about the main couple, the supporting characters have depth and back stories of their own. I highly recommend this 1980's gem.
